Mark Greenfield is a New York based actor, writer, and director.  His recent film credits include Amir Naderi’s Vegas: Based on a True Story, which premiered in Competition at the 2008 Venice Film Festival and the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival.  On stage he has appeared with companies that include Gorilla Rep, IMAGO and the Italian Commedia dell’Arte company I Giullari Di Piazza.

As a writer, Mark’s original stage play “I.E. – In Other Words” was produced by New York City’s Flea Theater, and he was also an on-set writer for the feature film Whip It which marked Drew Barrymore’s directorial debut.  Mark is also the founding director of the Faux-Real Theatre Company with whom he has created and directed works that include FUNBOX, William Shakespeare’s Haunted House, Htebcam (Macbeth in Reverse), All-Male Oedipus Rex,  All-Female Seven Against Thebes, and most recently Jason and the Argonauts (all of which were presented at NYC SummerStage).  Mark currently teaches theatre at Fordham University.
